Vandana Dhariwal
Vandana Dhariwal grew up in the vibrant city-state of Singapore, where she was immersed in a multicultural environment that influenced her global perspective. Vandana completed her studies in civil engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Post-studies she worked for an architecture design firm. She later moved to the United States, where she ran an art school for a few years, until she moved to Uganda with her family in 2009.
In Uganda, she continues to thrive, contributing to the community. She is the director of a financial services company, major investor of Yako Bank and proud mother of two successful young adults. She exemplifies adaptability, resilience, and commitment to fostering a rich, multicultural environment.
Jasjit Mangat Liddar
Jasjit is a 4th generation Asian Ugandan with strong ties to Uganda and has a Bachelor of Arts (honors) in French Linguistics and translation studies. She is a mother of two and is the owner of Bistro Restaurant in Kisementi. Jasjit, another pioneer of the 7 Hills project was driven by the need to have a well-balanced, grounded, and affordable international school for her two boys and other children their age in Kampala.
Grace Kwizera
Grace is a businessman with an MBA in Finance. He is a father of 3 who joined the Dream Team to create a school where his children can get an affordable education that focuses on harnessing their creativity and independence, while also encouraging responsibility. Grace is a competitive basketballer and project manager for the Jr. NBA program in Uganda. He is passionate about the development of Basketball and other sports in Uganda and has a keen interest in recruiting children to join sports at an early age.
Linda Mutesi
Linda Mutesi is a lawyer by profession with over 14 years of legal practice and currently heads Policy and
General Practices at Adalci Advocates. Linda holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Makerere University
Kampala and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, Kampala.
She is a feminist and curator of several social impact projects in the arts, history, and civic education
spaces in Uganda. She also engages in entrepreneurship and invests with locally owned initiatives and
businesses across Africa. She currently chairs the 32 Degrees East the Ugandan Arts Trust, an
organization that provides space, residences, and a plethora of literature for Ugandan artists, and connects
them to other artists across the globe.
She is a board member of Fundi Bots, a nonprofit that provides high-impact science education and skills
development for Africa’s children, and is also a member of the Contemporary Art Society of Uganda, an
organization of Ugandan Art Collectors.
Linda has a strong passion for philanthropy and regularly supports various initiatives that work with
underserved and marginalized communities.
Alexandra Hudda
Alexandra studied Education and Child Development at Vanderbilt University and has a MPH from Drexel University in Epidemiology. She first came to Uganda in 2005 on a 2-year teaching contract at KISU but ended up settling in Uganda. She is married and has 2 young children. Alexandra is passionate about making learning fun and relevant for children and is a true believer in lifelong learning, which fits perfectly with the vision and mission of 7 Hills. She was instrumental in setting up the IMYC Curriculum for 7 Hills and preparing the school for its first class of 2017-2018
