With extensive experience working with children in various communities in and outside Uganda,
our teachers use dynamic and practical learning techniques that encourage young minds to express themselves, think critically, solve problems and enjoy what they are learning.

7Hills International School is looking to appoint enthusiastic and experienced teachers for August 2024.

Positions Available:

  • STEM (Science) Teacher (full time)
  • History Teacher (full time)
  • English Language and Literature Teacher (full time)
  • Sports Teacher (part time)
  • Music Teacher (part time)

* Possibility to combine any of the teaching positions with an academic coordinator leadership role.

* Possibility to combine any part time roles into a full time teaching position.

* Candidates with the ability to teach across disciplines will be preferred.

7Hills International School is in its seventh year, and follows the innovative IMYC Curriculum for Years 7 to 9, IGCSEs for Years 10 to 11, and A-level for Years 12 to 13. 7Hills is seeking teachers who will be fully involved in every aspect of school life, to inspire students to reach their full potential by fostering curiosity and an interest in learning. This is an exciting role for someone who wishes to contribute to the development of a not for profit school within a supportive teaching staff with strong links to parents and the local community.

General Selection Criteria:

  • Applications are welcomed from experienced candidates. 
  • A relevant degree from a recognised university plus certificate of teaching is required. 
  • Direct experience in a school setting, preferably with IMYC, IGCSE or GCSE, and/or A-level experience, is highly desired.
