                                                                                                With over 20 years of experience in international education, Mark Bridgeman has worked across five continents in a variety of leadership roles. His educational philosophy centers on fostering academic excellence alongside personal growth and character development. Mark believes in empowering students to become confident, compassionate leaders who are curious and committed to lifelong learning.

                                                                                                He has taught English, Social Studies, Business Studies, Computing, Geography, and History in the UK, Australia, South Korea, China, Türkiye, Tanzania, and Uruguay.

                                                                                                He is a CIS Accreditation Team Evaluator and a Cambridge Teacher Training Facilitator.

                                                                                                Priscila Perdomo

                                                                                                Priscila brings over 18 years of experience in international education with many leadership roles. She is passionate about building learning environments that unlock each person’s potential and empower both teachers and students.

                                                                                                Her teaching and leadership work has taken her to Uruguay, China, Türkiye, and Tanzania.

                                                                                                Priscila is a trainer for Cambridge Teaching & Learning programs and serves as a CIS Accreditation Evaluator and UN Global Schools Advocate. She looks forward to contributing to a community where learners develop the knowledge and skills needed to thrive as global citizens.

                                                                                                Shruti Gadhia

                                                                                                An educator and counsellor by profession, Shruti started her teaching journey in India in 2014 and shortly afterwards moved to Kampala in 2017. Shruti completed her bachelors in Genetics in 2010. She later spent a couple of years in the UK where she pursued a masters in cancer research. She has a curious personality and was drawn to the sciences from a young age. Shruti is passionate about understanding young minds and helping them to develop well-rounded abilities. After moving to Uganda, Shruti created a blog site dedicated to spreading awareness about mental health issues and clear the stigma associated with psychological and mental well-being in our society. In her spare time, Shruti enjoys dancing, spending time with her family and friends.

                                                                                                Aleksandra kubin

                                                                                                Mrs. Alek grew up in the Pacific Northwest in Washington State to Polish parents. When growing up Aleks and her family often travelled, which inspired her interest in learning about the wider world. As well, while in secondary, she was inspired to work in education. These interests led Aleks to attend Western Washington University where she achieved a Bachelors in social studies and a TESOL certificate.  Aleks then took up an offer to join the U.S. Peace Corps to work as a Literacy Specialist. This is what brought Aleks to Uganda in 2015, and she hasn’t left since. While in Uganda Aleks built her teaching experience in primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions within both national and international schools. In her free time Aleks enjoys cooking, yoga, hiking and camping, and reading.

                                                                                                Uday Kiran

                                                                                                Uday is an experienced mathematics educator with a rich background in teaching spanning over 10 years. Hailing from a family of educators, He was an integral part of Delhi Public School International Uganda since 2017, bringing his expertise to students across various levels including CBSE, IGCSE, and A levels. As the Head of the STEM department and the Olympiad Exam coordinator, He showcases exceptional leadership skills. With a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and teaching certification, he engages students effectively with his versatile teaching approach. He is dedicated to accommodating diverse learning styles and providing personalized support, integrating innovative teaching materials along the way. His passion lies in nurturing a love for mathematics among students. Outside of academics, Uday enjoys playing volleyball and basketball during his free time. Originally from Hyderabad, India, Uday brings a unique cultural perspective to our school community.

                                                                                                James Pitkeathly

                                                                                                James is from Brighton, UK, and graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in English Literature. He has worked as a secondary school Teaching Assistant for SEN in England, taught English in Korea, and worked as a teacher trainer for British Council in Tanzania. In the past 6 years in Uganda, James has examined for IELTS, helped establish a community library in Bundibugyo, and founded a learning-centred chocolate company in Kampala – moonbean chocolate. Throughout these pursuits, education has remained close to his heart, and James is thrilled to be back in the classroom doing what he loves – nurturing and inspiring young minds.

                                                                                                Sophia Hendrickson

                                                                                                Sophia comes from the east of England, by the seaside.

                                                                                                Her teaching experience includes working with vulnerable teenagers in Liberia, running an English language school in Rwanda, and supporting children with physical and learning disabilities in Zambia.

                                                                                                Sophia’s teaching philosophy is simple: the student is the heart of every decision. She believes that a successful classroom is a diverse classroom and that there can be no learning without laughter.

                                                                                                In her spare time, she volunteers with RefuAid UK, providing one-on-one English language tuition to refugees.

                                                                                                Scott Porter

                                                                                                Scott graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and moved to Uganda with the Peace Corps where he began teaching English literacy at Kabale Preparatory School. In 2020 he joined 7Hills and began studies for a Postgraduate Certificate of Education from the University of Nottingham and has been teaching history ever since. He is excited to return to 7Hills and reconnect with the students and community!

                                                                                                Christine Wanyana

                                                                                                Christine was Captain of the Uganda Women’s Football National Team (She-Cranes) for 18 years. Christine is currently acting as the U-20 National Women’s Football Team Coach and is also a Fufa/Fifa coach instructor. Christine has worked both in Ugandan and International schools and loves working with children to develop their sporting skills and abilities. Passionate about sports especially football and volleyball she exudes Teamwork, discipline, respect and hard work.

                                                                                                Parnaz Salmani Torghi

                                                                                                Parnaz’s role here will be to provide a safe space for the students to share and communicate any challenges, overwhelming feelings, anxieties, fears, or questions that they may have during this pivotal stage of their lives. She hopes that with a little bit of extra support, and the space to comfortably and safely explore what makes them who they are, students will be able to recognise their own resilience and identify healthy coping mechanisms that will serve them moving into adulthood.

                                                                                                José Ortuño Pallarés

                                                                                                José Ortuño Pallarés (Pepe)  is an experienced educator from Spain, holding a Master’s degree in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and a degree in Physical Education. Mr. Pepe has a rich teaching background, having taught Spanish and Physical Education at various levels. Notably, he previously worked at 7Hills where he taught Spanish and headed the Physical Education department. He also has experience teaching online and working with individuals with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities. Pepe is excited to return to 7Hills, bringing his expertise in language instruction, physical education, and inclusive teaching methodologies to inspire and support students.

                                                                                                Isaac Earl

                                                                                                Isaac is originally from the US and graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Middle East Studies and Arabic. He also holds a TESOL qualification. Isaac has a diverse teaching background, having taught Advanced High School English and History, as well as English as a Second Language. He spent two years in Uganda as a Literacy Specialist with the Peace Corps, where he implemented literacy programs and helped facilitate community outreach campaigns. After his experience in Uganda, he returned to the US and recently taught History at a secondary school in Somaliland. He is fluent in Arabic and Runyankore/Rukiga, and has also attained some proficiency in Swahili, Somali, and French. Isaac is excited to join the 7Hills community and inspire young minds with his love for education and global awareness.

                                                                                                Ninda Birindwa Fabrice

                                                                                                Ninda is a dynamic educator with a love for learning and life beyond the classroom. When not teaching, he enjoys travelling, watching and playing basketball, and performing music. He sings in his local Catholic church choir and plays the guitar, bringing creativity, cultural engagement, and a spirit of joy to his teaching and interactions with students.

                                                                                                Kageni Cyrus Kenneth

                                                                                                Cyrus is a Business teacher and graduate of Makerere University with a Bachelor of Science with Education (Economics). Combining expertise in economics with a love for psychology, he inspires learners to think critically and succeed. Off the clock, he’s a devoted Liverpool fan.


                                                                                                Elisabeth Huibertha Sachse

                                                                                                Elisabeth is originally from the Netherlands and brings a rich international background to 7Hills. She holds degrees in Global and International Studies, German, and Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University and is TEFL certified. A former Peace Corps Education Volunteer in Uganda, Elisabeth taught literacy, led after-school clubs, and secured funding for a village library. She also has experience teaching in Thailand and working with NGOs in Tanzania and Zambia. Fluent in English, Dutch, German and Luganda, she brings both linguistic and cultural diversity to our team. Outside of school, she enjoys mountain climbing, hiking, and cycling.

                                                                                                Aine Beyongyera

                                                                                                Berna is a Professional English, Language Arts and Humanities teacher with a BA in Arts with Education. She is committed to creating inclusive, engaging classroom experiences where all learners feel supported. Berna is especially focused on fostering academic growth, empathy, and social responsibility. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading poetry, music, exercising, traveling, and sharing good meals with others.

                                                                                                Dr. Mugdha Joglekar


                                                                                                Dr. Mugdha Joglekar is a highly accomplished educator and researcher originally from India. She holds a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Applied Physics, with extensive research experience in advanced optical techniques and digital holography. Mugdha has contributed significantly to international projects and published numerous articles. In addition to her academic pursuits, she is a certified Yoga teacher. She brings her diverse skills, teaching, research, and wellness training to 7Hills International School, where she is excited to contribute to the students’ academic and holistic development.

                                                                                                Mbongu Denis

                                                                                                Mr Denis is an advocate for quality education , demonstrates leadership at Fundi Bots managing and mentoring students and instilling student focussed concepts to 7Hills.

                                                                                                Denis excels in teaching STEM disciplines in robotics, across various year levels, particularly in robotics , is strong in guiding students through the principles of robotics (electronics , mechanics ) as well as structure building , he also demonstrates proficiency in making physics concepts tangible through the development of learning tools under ESC(Enhanced Science Curriculum)  department which promotes hands on learning experiences in schools

                                                                                                Ms Bridget Abitegeka is passionate about ICT and digital literacy  with a Bachelors of Computer Science degree at Makerere University. Bridget conducted various theory and practical ICT trainings with students of different age groups. She is excited to share  and inspire students to learn and apply technology in their day to day lives.

                                                                                                Ronald Kiryowa

                                                                                                Ronald brings a wealth of experience in music education, production, and direction to our school. As the Music Director of Fauti Band and an active member of the Musician Club of Jinja, Ronald combines performance finesse with a deep commitment to teaching. He inspires students of all ages to explore and master the musical instrument of their choice, offering tailored training that nurtures both passion and skill.

                                                                                                Rogers Bulega

                                                                                                Mr Burega Rogers has a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Sports Science from Makerere University. Specializing in football, basketball and swimming, Burega excels in designing and implementing effective training programs. Burega is passionate about motivating and inspiring athletes, fostering discipline, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards physical activity. He is excited to join 7Hills International School, where he aims to optimize student sports performances and enhance overall well-being.

                                                                                                Elly Muhereza

                                                                                                Elly holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science in Sports and Leisure Management from Kyambogo University. Elly has been involved in sports, fitness, and wellness for 10 years. He has worked as a fitness and wellness coach for institutions including UPDF, Multichoice Uganda, and has been a Sports Consultant for a number of International Schools in Uganda. Elly brings his passion for sports, fitness, wellness and nutrition to his role at 7Hills.

                                                                                                Alveria is a highly motivated person, with a passion to improve the abilities of students with learning differences at different levels. She is dedicated to helping students maximise their efforts so as to get good results, and realise their full potential.

                                                                                                Veronica Nantumbwe

                                                                                                Veronica has previously worked at Gayaza Junior School and Ambrosoli International School as a librarian and learning assistant. She is passionate about books and at 7Hills she supports children in exploring the world of books and online reading resources that are a great source of knowledge, which open their minds to the world and encourages them to develop confidence. When not at school Veronica likes to read, bake and watch football.

                                                                                                Aparo Catherine

                                                                                                Aparo is a highly committed English teacher with experience in working with various educational backgrounds. She has genuine interest in the needs and aspirations of students and adapts to different teaching styles and materials with specific learning styles of each individual.

                                                                                                Catherine is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in special needs. She is interested in working with diverse groups of students including those with special needs and supporting them in classroom environments where every child thrives.

                                                                                                Dasio Rwotumiyo

                                                                                                Mr Dasio is the new member of the Student Support department  at 7Hills. He is dedicated and passionate to help students with their academic and personal needs as well as providing guidance and assistance to ensure that students succeed in their studies and feel supported throughout their school journey. From offering advice or just being there to listen ro students, Dasio is committed to making sure every student feels valued and confident in their abilities at 7Hills.

                                                                                                Janet is a  member of the 7Hills family since 2019, Janet takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, from exams to day to day organisation so that students and teachers can focus on learning and growth. Beyond her role at school, she is passionate about teamwork, organisation, and creating positive experiences for others. In her free time, Janet enjoys yoga, cooking, travelling, and supporting meaningful causes.

                                                                                                Douglas Welayi


                                                                                                Mr Douglas is a versatile, detail-oriented professional with eight years’ progressive experience across operations, procurement, resource administration and coordination. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Diploma in Public Administration and Management and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management (MSc SCM) to deepen his expertise in strategic procurement, logistics and organisational operations.

                                                                                                Since joining 7Hills in 2017, Mr Douglas has contributed to, and taken pride in, the school’s growth. His work spans logistics management, budgeting, asset control and staff supervision, with a proven record of streamlining processes and delivering cost-effective solutions. Recognised for strong problem-solving skills and a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and operational excellence, he helps ensure that 7Hills’ systems run efficiently in support of outstanding teaching and learning.

                                                                                                 

                                                                                                SABIT JULIE QUEEN

                                                                                                Julie serves as the first point of contact at 7Hills International School, ensuring
                                                                                                a welcoming and professional environment for parents, students, staff and
                                                                                                visitors. She manages front desk operations, handles incoming communication,
                                                                                                maintains student records, supports admissions, schedules appointments and
                                                                                                assists with daily administrative tasks.
                                                                                                With a background in International Relations, she brings strong organisational
                                                                                                and interpersonal skills to the role, helping to keep the school running smoothly
                                                                                                and efficiently.
